Jesus, My Lord (1969) was written for a high school student in the church choir I conducted while in Bermuda. He needed a song to enter an island-wide vocal competition. He won first prize! Not sure, then, about my faith, I kept that song on paper and in my mind for years. It did not fit the music of the several churches I attended over my career. Yet, it kept speaking to me. “If you believe it, others will, too,” I kept hearing it in my head. I finally started playing it for my wife, now I believe stronger than ever in this testimony.
