Fantasy for Flutes (1994) a Flute Trio was written for a flautist who played Viola in my high school string orchestra. Her two friends in the band wanted an entry for Solo & Ensemble Festival. The trio was awarded a First Place rating. Three equal players will enjoy the interplay and the brief shifts in tonality. Following the metronome marking will give a quality performance.
